Roz Kelly who played Pinky was on the show.
Handles..How many Dukes CB handles did you remember..??..
...(1)...Daisy was either Little Bo Peep or Country Cousin...(2)...Bo Duke 10'4'd under the CB handle of Lost Sheep#2...(3)...Shepherd was the CB handle for Uncle Jesse...(4)...Luke was known as Lost Sheep#1 in the CB world...(5)...Cooter used the name Crazy Cooter or Sheepdog as his handle........
..we hear Crazy Cooter in the very first episode.....but no handles for any of the others who had them later on...did some of the other characters have handles? I am sure they did, but I have been unable to figure them out for sure! I'll keep working on it...You may hear other names such as Uncle Shepherd..most of the time you just heard Lost Sheep and not any numbers..I am trying to think of what my CB name was..that's a long time ago..
In one hilarious undercover episode Rosco went under the name of RedDog, Enos was BlueFox. I am sure here again that Boss Hogg had a name, but I missed it and fell asleep and missed the midnight re-run!! Don'tcha just love em!!
Johnny Paycheck sang Take This Job and Shove it on November 3 1981...Freddie Fender sang Jambalaya on March 27 1981...Jefferson Davis Hogg's brother's name was Abraham Lincoln Hogg...When Coy and Vance came back to Hazzard, they had been gone for 6 years. Enos came back to Hazzard at the same time, for a few shows there were Rosco, Cletus and Enos. How much can one county take?The Dukes led to other shows such as Lobo..Harper Valley PTA..Enos. The very popular Burt Reynolds Smokey and The Bandit movies were thought to be the reason The Dukes were such a hit. In the first episode we hear mention that Burt Reynolds doesn't get lost like this....
The Dukes sang Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys..in this same episode Hoggenomics took over as Hazzard County was in a financial bind. Rosco and Enos ended up patrolling on horses.
Audrey Landers made an appearance on the show in No More Mr. Nice Guy...
Both Loretta Lynn and Cale Yorboro made two appearances as guests on the show......
Someone tells me that short, shorts are now called Daisy Dukes! And, I wonder why people name a dog Daisy Duke, even when she looks just like good ole Flash?

Denver Pyle, The Duke's Uncle Jesse passed away on Christmas Day. Less than two weeks ago Mr Pyle had garnered his strength to attend the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Note**I just went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. To my disappointment, I could not find Denver's star. I wondered if I might have found anything on the internet. I did later. Denver's star is at 7083 Hollywood BoulevardWe were right near it, this is the same street that El Capatin, Pantages and Mann's Chinese Theaters are on.
Denver was born in a small Colorado town, his mother named him after her favorite city.
A veteran TV actor, Denver had appeared in The Andy Griffith Show as Mr Darling, he was Caleb on Gunsmoke, and was part of The Life & Times of Grizzly Adams. We will miss you..God Bless..
